Well, I watch Hawthorne, Memphis Beat, CSI:MIAMI, Criminal Minds, NCIS, and some shows on E!, Chelsea Lately, the Kardashians, Kendra, The Soup...stuff like that :]

I watch Bones, Law & Order: SVU, and Glee right now. But, I just upgraded my cable package, so I might find some new things to watch as well (like I'll finally get to watch Rachel Maddow when it airs sometimes!!!!) but with the hours I work, who knows. I can't even watch R&I until I download it on Tuesday mornings.  |

I don't have a DVR. I've thought about buying one, and I may at some point in the future. Getting off work at 10:00 PM sucks sometimes, but I'm so not a morning person, so it's not too awful.

SVU!!!!! And Glee!!!!!! And I am all about Criminal Minds. Although I'm extremely pissed about what they did to AJ Cook and Paget Brewster.
I also love CSI:NY and Grey's Anatomy. Especially Grey's Anatomy.
I catch Chelsea Lately every once in a while. And it is always hilarious. My guilty pleasure shows are Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami

I really enjoy SVU, for a number of reasons. I work with victims and survivors of sexual violence and the law enforcement piece of their experiences never turns out as well as it does on TV. Plus, I love being able to sit down and have everything wrapped up in 42-43 minutes, instead of the years it can take in real life. I really admire the work that Mariska Hargitay's foundation does with survivors as well. (And I'm not so down to earth that I can't admit that it's nice to watch her solve crimes and be beautiful as Olivia...)

I am so ready for this weekend. Work was extremely slow today, which is very unusual because Wednesday is our busiest day. The rest of the week has been pretty slow too, so I'm just ready to lay in bed all day. And not have to get up at 6am to be at work by 7am

I think it's really great that you do that. I've considered volunteering with something like that or a battered women's shelter. I'd recommend trying to volunteer at a rape crisis center first. State legislatures tend to cut the budgets for RCCs (which is why I'm the only staff member left at mine) before they cut the budgets for domestic violence shelters, which means RCCs tend to rely more on volunteers. I'm ready for the weekend too. I worked this past Sunday, so I have Friday off, and I'm looking forward to catching up on some sleep. |

Oh thanks for the info. I'll look into it.
I work Monday through Friday and have Saturday and Sunday off. It's a recent change to my schedule that I enjoy. Next week though, I have to work 6 days in a row. I work at a pet hotel, and since it's Labor Day weekend, we have a TON of dogs and cats coming in, and we don't have enough staff. I am definitely not looking forward to that.
