Hah, that was a really nice interview. I really liked a lot of what they were talking about with strong female characters and how females can be portrayed on TV. I agree with Sasha, that it's refreshing that we aren't walking in on a point in their relationship when everything is hunky dory, and there's nothing left to learn. They're definitely good friends, but new friends, and so we get to learn along with them.

I like that aspect too, and I think it's really unique. Even the fact that Jane didn't realize that Maura came from an upper-class upbringing (fancy French boarding school aside, I guess) is really indicative of how new their relationship is.

I totally agree with both of y'all.

The fact that their friendship is somewhat new is great, because we get to learn about them as they learn about each other.

Very cute interview, but does anyone else find it a little awkward that they don't really look at each other? I realize they're not talking to one another, but still...

Yeah, I thought that was kinda awkward. I would understand that when they are talking, they look at the interviewer, but I would think that the one who isn't talking would at least be looking at the one who is (I really hope that makes sense because it totally does to my brain)
