A/N: Just a drabble. No, really, it's less than 100 words, and it's almost entirely dialog, which is new for me. Feedback is always welcome!
“What do you mean you’ve never done tequila shots?”
“I mean I generally prefer to savor the subtle flavors of a fine wine than bang back a pungent blue agave-derived spirit.”
“Knock back, Maura, knock back. And it’s not just about the blue agave whatever…it’s the combination of the salt, the tequila, and the lime.”
Maura shot her a skeptical look.
“And the person you’re doing the shot off of.”
“What are you talking about, Jane?”
“Here, I’ll show you. Now just give me one of your hands for a minute.”
“What? Oh…”
