I bet you it's going to end on a cliff hanger like most shows...if it does, I'll have to kill somebody. >

Yeah, the 2 minute preview didn't do anything for me. I thought it was kind of boring. But the little promo they aired after the episode on Monday is what made me super excited. Is it wrong that I like seeing Maura in danger? I feel like that should be wrong.

Part of me hopes that the cliffhanger is of the "OMG MAURA MIGHT DIE!" variety. Obviously, Maura's not going to die, so it's really not THAT much of a cliffhanger, and it will inevitably inspire a rush of Jane-saves-the-day!fanfics that will most likely include them spending lots of time in bed together.
Not like they don't already.

I have to say, I like the idea of that being the cliffhanger. Like a lot. Cause I would get my "ZOMG Maura's in danger" fix and my "they are totally married and hiding it" fix all at once. I would be a very happy woman.

Hiding it? Are we watching the same show?

Er... well... pretending not to be married? No. That's not right either. Attempting to hide it? Although they aren't very good. Hmmm. How about... not flat out saying 'Hey guys! We're married and in love and are going to live happily ever after with Bass and Joe Friday and spend all of our time in bed together!' (even though they already spend A LOT of time in bed together. Ya know. For two girls who "aren't married")
*nods* Yeah. I like that last one.

Now that you mention it, I'd love to see a scene with Bass and Joe Friday together, you know, Brady Bunch style. I think that would be awesome.
Random fact: The Brady Bunch was the first show to show a married couple in bed together (scandalous!). Jane and Maura spend a lot of time in be together. Coincidence? I think so not!

Hee hee. Joe could like run circles around Bass trying to get him to play and get like super confused cause he's not doing anything. That would be totally adorable.
Definitely not a coincidence. They're just taunting us. Evil people. Evil, yet sexy and beautiful at the same time. That's the best kind of evil.

Hah! I love "spoilers". I'm hoping and praying predicting that it's Frankie and Maura.
And then we get to see Jane comfort Maura in bed with cereal

Call me high maintenance, but if Maura gets shot, Jane had better drudge up something better than cereal for her. The whole "giving her the best of what she has" argument aside, Maura deserves more than Lucky Charms. We've already read that Maura's going to have to challenge herself in this episode. Regardless of what that specifically refers to, she'll have to push herself out of her comfort zone--something she'd probably only do for Jane (or someone Jane loves, which would still, technically, be for Jane). For the sake of a really really dramatic scene, she'd probably get shot just as she accomplishes whatever it is. So, she'll be shot for Jane. If Frankie's shot, he'll run to his Mommy. If Maura's shot, she'll run to Bass and Jane will run to her. Beautiful.

From the video promo and a promo photo I saw, Frankie looks like he's one of them. I'm thinking that Jane's hit and Maura has to try and fix it. My hunch is that it starts off with Frankie and then perhaps it's Jane's turn at the very end - probably the last five minutes - leaving us with a cliffhanger. If Jane and Frankie are out of commission, then that REALLY leaves Maura in a tough spot if these guys are shooting up the joint and two of her protectors are down for the count.

Especially considering she's never shot a gun before. Though the description said they didn't have weapons, so maybe she has to improvise.

Scalpels are pretty sharp. And I'm sure she has some other tools in the morgue that could double as weapons in a pinch.

Though the description said they didn't have weapons, so maybe she has to improvise. Depending on where they are, Maura might have nothing to work with. That would make it hard to tend to the injured and to defend herself if she had to: challenged like she never has been before. I'll be on the edge of my seat the whole ep as I wait to see how this all plays out.
